Tokyo City is the primary map of Midnight Racing: Tokyo. RiMS Racing’s free trial will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series XS. The more laps I ran, the better it started to feel, and once you get towards the limits of grip, it lets you know, through the controller’s vibration feedback, of an imminent trip to the gravel trap. The area allows mountain pass (or 峠 tōge in Japanese) specialized racing. This will be followed by versions on the PlayStation and Xbox stores on October 29th that will allow for three hours of play-time.

Developer Raceward Studio and publisher Nacon are offering gamers the chance to test drive RiMS Racing.Theres a demo of the motorbike simulation for Windows on Steam that offers unlimited play over next two days. The map is a close 1:1 recreation of the real life Inner Circuit Route (C1) loop located in the central part of the Greater Tokyo Area. In RiMS Racing, you can ride the worlds 8 most powerful European and Japanese motorbikes: Ducati. The Shuto Expressway is the main track map of Midnight Racing: Tokyo. Your adventure starts by choosing your dream motorbike. Several cars were also added in this period.Ĭlassic Tokyo is the classic then-primary prototype map for Midnight Racing: Tokyo, taking place in the central business districts and port of Tokyo. Around this time, the Vehicle Team was founded, in order to revamp the vehicle statistics in regards to performance and suspension to be more realistic and to improve the handling. By December 2018, the game had a average of around 50-100 players and a active Discord community of around a thousand members. Throughout the month of September and November, the Classic Tokyo map was released in stages, adding more and more highway and or city areas.
In September, the map was opened up and continued and shortly thereafter bigcrazycarboy joined the project after both six_pence and bigcrazy cancelled their already WIP title Coral City to pursue the development of MR:T instead. I recommend players to try the demo version of the game in order to have some experience first on what awaits them in playing RIMS racing. Parts of the map that is now Classic Tokyo (the area next to the dealership) was constructed in this period and was not open to the public. Not only that, the racing mechanics of the game is well balanced and suited for not only experienced players but also for newbies who will just start playing these types of games. What eventually became MR:T was developed as a concept map by six_pence in June/July 2018.
